We’ve seen the cool science experiments with bubbly foam spewing from a jar in a crazy lab. But now, we can bring that crazy lab experiment to our house!

You will perform one of the coolest science experiments there is: making bubbly, foamy, elephant toothpaste that shoots out of a bottle!
Materials:
Hydrogen peroxide solution (found in mouthwash, hair dye, laundry stain removers, etc.)

Dish soap

Warm water

Active yeast

Clear glass bottle

A large tray or space (preferably outside)

Steps:
1. Mix half a cup of hydrogen peroxide solution with a quarter cup dishwashing detergent in the glass bottle.
2. Place the bottle onto the tray or area where you wouldn’t mind a bunch of foam falling all over the place.
3. Mix about a packet of yeast with some warm water.
4. After about five minutes, pour the yeast mixture in the glass bottle, and watch the toothpaste spew everywhere!
